Privacy Notice

Mogran is a curated network for Sudanese people around the world. This notice explains what information the private beta collects, why it is used and the choices available to members.

Information Mogran collects

  • Account information, including your name, email address and authentication records.
  • Profile information you choose to provide, such as location, industry, biography, interests, offers, requests and an external profile link.
  • Content you submit, including opportunities, Circle posts, organizations, events and private introduction requests.
  • Administrative records needed to review profiles, moderate content, manage Founding Member status and protect the service.
  • Basic technical records created by the hosting and authentication providers for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
  • First-party web analytics such as pages visited, referral source, approximate region and device or browser category. Mogran uses Vercel Web Analytics for this reporting without advertising trackers.

Why the information is used

Mogran uses this information to create and secure accounts, review applications, operate the member directory, provide community features, moderate submissions, arrange requested introductions, understand aggregate product use, respond to support requests and improve the private beta.

Who can see your information

Your profile and approved community submissions are visible only to approved Mogran members and authorized admins. Your account email is not displayed unless you choose to include it in a contact field. Introduction requests remain private to you and authorized admins. A request is shared with a potential match only when your permission allows it.

Service providers and international processing

Mogran uses Supabase for authentication and database services and Vercel for application hosting. These providers may process information outside your province or country under their own security and privacy commitments. Mogran does not sell member information.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate the beta, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Access controls, Row Level Security, moderation controls and encrypted provider connections are used to reduce risk. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile from the Profile page. You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw optional consent or raise a privacy concern by emailing hello@joinmogran.com. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.

Age requirement

The private beta is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. Mogran does not ask for or need your full date of birth. A broader youth experience would require separate safeguards before launch.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as Mogran adds features or changes service providers. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
